Welcome 2 Higher Ground Official Site of the Reaching Higher Ground Project
Reaching Higher Ground is a project aimed at helping women to help each other succeed. The project includes a networking group, book and websites which will provide forums where women can speak to one another about the challenges they have faced and how they have been able to cope with adversity. Our hope is that this project will evolve into a system which will provide the kind of support women need in today's society including developing self-esteem, self-awareness, self-actualization, self-defense, and self-sufficiency. Our Mission: To help women of all ages, races, religions, financial means, and backgrounds to realize their full potential by linking them to resources in the community and by encouraging social networking with other women.
Attn: All Women! We now have a chatroom set up on our MySpace site. For the next few months, we will be trying something new. We will have our group meetings online! You can participate by going here. Chat schedule to be announced! The topic of our next meeting will be: Who Does She Think She Is? This will be a discussion about the "competitive side" of women's relationships. Log in and spend an evening talking with other ladies in your community who want to share what they know about life, love, and happiness and share your insights with the group as well.

Meeting Topics for 2008 include: What can I be? A discussion about what we want to be or become What are we afraid of? A discussion about our fears and how can overcome them These are just some of the ideas we have, but there are plenty more and we welcome your suggestions.
